Eric James Ayers, 29 years, of Bellevue, NE walked to the Lord on Saturday, May 1, 2021 after a long battle of pneumonia.
Eric was the first born to Brenda Spiker and Shane Ayers. Eric grew up in Fremont, NE. In 2009, Eric moved to a group home with ENCOR (Duet). In 2013, Eric graduated from Fremont High and then was employed by the ENCOR workshop. In 2018, Eric moved to a MSU in Bellevue, NE and attended Jerry Graesser Day Services while enjoying music, sports, movies, bowling, and being outside.
Eric is survived by his parents of Fremont; sister, Emily; brother, Dustin of Blair; grandparents, Trude Ayers and special friend Butch of Fremont, Wayne and Helen Wilson of Fremont, Richard and Ann Spiker of Nickerson; many aunts, uncles, and a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Theodore Ayers.
Visitation will be Friday May 7, 2021 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
