MRS. CAROLINE JENSEN TO BE BURIED TODAY

Caroline Marie Christensen was born July, 1879 in Jutland, Denmark to Carl and Maren Christensen. She came to America in 1905 and was married the same year to Carl O. Jensen and they made their home in Blair.

Mr. Jensen passed away in 1919. She was baptized and confirmed in Denmark and joined the Lutheran Church in Blair in 1920.

For many years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ted Olson, going to live at the Good Shepherd Home in May, 1965 where she passed away on Sept. 13, 1968.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 brothers and a sister in Denmark.

Survivors are 2 daughters, Mrs. Ted Olson (Ida) of Blair and Mrs. H.G. Francisco (Edna) of Battle Creek, Michigan; also 2 grandchildren, Don Olson and Mrs. Merle Sopnderup of Blair and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were today (Monday) at 2 P.M. at First Lutheran Church. The Rev. George Pallesen officiated with the Campbell Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Don Olson, Merle Sonderup, Avery Jaspersen, James Jensen, Harold Paulsen and Dareld Ahrens.
