Bonnie Jean Longe, 80, of Fremont, NE, was called home, October 13, 2021. She resided at Nye Legacy in Fremont at the time of her death.

Bonnie was born July 9, 1941, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Kenneth D. Scott, Sr. and Doris Marie (Engel) Wilch. In February 1958, she was united in marriage to Dale Ringle. From that union are 4 children: son, Richard Ringle of Lincoln and 3 daughters, Debra (Brian) Lunn of Blair, Patricia (Larry) Stodola of Fremont and Cheryl Anderson of Blair.

She married Dwain Longe on July 15, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nevada. From that marriage she gained 2 stepchildren, Bryon (Stacie) Jokumsen and Brenda Hausmann and six bonus grandchildren. Along with their extended families, she and Dwain enjoyed their beloved pets Buddy and Tinker.

Bonnie was employed at 3-M for 23 years until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fremont. She found solitude and solace in gardening, having a passion for roses. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren particularly during the holidays.

She is survived by her children; brother, Bill (Kim) Wilch of Fremont; sisters, Judy (Chuck) Laudenklos of Las Vegas and Geri Peterson of Kansas City, KS; sister in law, Carol Scott of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and 9 grandchildren; several; great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Harold Wilch; husband, Dwain; brothers, Kenneth Jr. and Robert Scott; and sister, Connie Parra.

Funeral will be 11 A.M., Monday October 18, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Fremont. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5-7 P.M. at the Church, 505 N “C” St, in Fremont, and Monday one hour prior to the service at First Baptist Church in Fremont. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
