27 July, 1893 - The Pilot - Charles Palmer
DIED. PALMER-At Norwich, Conn., on Saturday, July 15, of consumption, Charles M. Palmer, aged 20 years and 6 months.
Charley Palmer was well known to many people in and about Blair. He came out here from his eastern home in the fall of 1891, for his health and lived nearly a year with his uncle J. W. Newell. During the fall of '92 he was for some months in the employ of S. A. Orchard in Omaha. He was a bright, interesting young man, but death had him marked. Though while here his health was fair, as soon as he returned home last fall a decline set in from which there was no escape.
