RASMUSSEN-On Tuesday, March 27th, 1894, Mrs. Clara, wife of Jorgen Rasmussen, aged 44 years, 7 months, 12 days.

Mrs. Clara Rasmussen was born in Sweden, Aug. 15, 1849. She came to America in May, 1882. She was married to Jorgen Rasmussen Sept. 24, 1882, since which time her home has been in Blair, Nebr. She departed this life at 12 o'clock Tuesday night, March 27, 1894, and her end was peaceful and triumphant. Realizing that she had but few days to live she talked calmly and deliberately of her approaching end, giving loving counsel to her husband and giving directions regarding her funeral. The husband mourns the loss of a devoted, industrious and loving wife, but has left to him the invaluable legacy of her dying testimony and prayers, The funeral took place from the residence Friday, March 30, at 2 P. M. Services were conducted by Rev. G. H. Main.
