Thursday, February 7, 1895- The Pilot
Fred Cross, the young man living just this side of Herman, who was reported last week as being in a critical condition from the effects of a surgical operation, died the first of this week and his remains were interred in the Herman Cemetery. Fred was a bright, smart boy and his death will be keenly felt by his associates in and around Herman.
