Little Paul, the only child of V. G. Patterson, of the Patterson House, was taken sick with membraneous croup and lingered a great sufferer until death relieved him Monday evening. A number of friends attended the last sad rites to comfort the sorrowing parents. The little one was laid to rest in the Cuming City cemetery where friends in that vicinity were assembled to pay their respects. Rev. Stambaugh conducted the services.
