At Washington, this county, on New Years day, Annie Maggie, wife of Louis Christensen, of pneumonia, aged 53 years.

Mrs. Christensen, with her husband has resided on the farm near Washington where she died, for twenty two years, they having been married in Omaha a year earlier. She was the mother of three children, one son twenty one years, a daughter eighteen and a younger son eleven years. The funeral was held on Monday last and the remains were laid to rest in the Prairie View cemetery near Washington, Rev. Larson officiating. She was sick only eight days, and her death is deplored by a large circle of longtime friends in the vicinity of her old home.
