Thursday, March 11, 1897 - The Pilot - Dora Kurtzman
The sad news of the death of Miss Dora Kurtzman, of Calhoun, casts a gloom over that little city. She was the only child and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kurtzman and was twenty-six years old, highly respected and was numbered among the leading society ladies of the town. Death came Monday at five P. M, as the result of an attack of pneumonia. The remains were laid at rest in the Calhoun cemetery Wednesday. The bereaved family has the deep sympathies of the entire community.
