#1-May 18, 1899- The Pilot- Heinrich "Henry" Tegt
News reached us of the unexpected death of Henry Tegt whose home is near Arlington. Mr. Tegt was in the Fremont hospital being treated for inflammatory rheumatism and last Saturday morning paralysis of the brain set in which resulted in his death that day. He was fifty-seven years old and leaves a wife and two adopted children.

Mr. Henry Tegt died at the Fremont hospital at five o’clock Saturday morning and was buried at the Fontanelle cemetery at 2:30 this p.m. He was 57 years of age, well known and highly respected in this community, having lived about five miles south of here the past thirty years. A large concourse of sorrowing friends followed the remains to their last resting place.
