Ralph C. Smith after suffering four years with paralysis departed this life last Tuesday. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon at his residence and was in charge of the I. O. O. F. lodge, of which deceased was a member. Rev. W. H. Underwood preached the funeral sermon, after which his remains were laid to rest in the Arlington Cemetery.
