MASS: 10:30am Friday at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair, NE. A Luncheon will follow Services at the Church. COMMITTAL: 1:30pm Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Omaha. VISITATION: Thursday, with the family Receiving friends from 5-7pm, and ROSARY at 7pm, all at the Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Shane Bassler, age 51 of Blair, passed away peacefully April 20, 2022, at his home. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday April 29, 2022, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. A luncheon will follow services at the church and then the committal service will be held at 1:30PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.
Visitation will be held Thursday April 28, 2022, with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m, and a Rosary at 7 p.m., at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.
Shane was born on Aug. 31, 1970, in Omaha, the son of Donald L. and Debra S. Bassler. He attended and graduated from Underwood High School in Iowa. After high school Shane attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha for construction management. After college he began working for his father at Construct Inc., where he continued working and eventually became vice-president.
Shane was proud to coach his daughters in fast pitch softball through the years and enjoyed hauling them to horse shows and rodeos. He was an avid sports fan, especially of NASCAR and “Da Bears.”
Shane is survived by his wife Kim, daughters: Hailey, Emma and Anna, father Donald L. Bassler, mother Debra S. Bassler, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
