MRS. CROUCH DIES AT HOME IN LOS ANGELES
A letter to The Tribune from Bertha C. Baker conveys the information of the death of Mrs. Nannie A. Crouch at her home in Los Angeles on August 28th. Mrs. Crouch was confined to her bed only a few days, her death being sudden and entirely unexpected, although she had not been well or very active for the past several years.
Mrs. Crouch was a former resident of Blair and was among the earlier settlers. She was the widow of the late Thos. Crouch who at one time was a Blair businessman. Mrs. Crouch and her daughter, Bertha, left Blair ten or fifteen years ago to make their home in California.
Note: husband's obituary identified her as Minnie Bond, but the California Death Certificate as well as several US Census records gave her name as Nannie A. Bond
