OMAHAN, 80, IS BURIED TUESDAY
NO FUNERAL SERVICE HELD, IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXPRESSED DESIRE
In keeping with his own request, there was no funeral services held here Tuesday for John Knowington, 80, former Blair resident who died in Omaha Sunday evening.
Mr. Knowington, whose father was a minister, had asked that no church or chapel service, flowers, music or sermon accompany last rites for him. However, a brief graveside service was held at Blair cemetery preceding interment.
Mr. Knowington, once a stonecutter in Blair by trade, is survived by his wife, the former Mrs. Albert Stevens.
