ROSA WOLTJE, 35, IS BURIED TODAY
BORN IN KANSAS, MISS WOLTJE WAS A 1922 BLAIR HIGH GRADUATE
Miss Rosa Woltje, 35, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Woltje, 505 South Walker Avenue, died early Monday morning after a lengthy illness.
Born September 24, 1901, at Anthony, Kansas, she spent the early part of her life on a farm there until her parents moved to Blair while she was still a child. She attended the Blair public school, being graduated from Blair high school with the class of 1922.
She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Ed of Blair and James of Swan Valley, Idaho; and three sisters, Nellie of Blair, Katherine of Omaha, and Mrs. Ralph Johnson of North Quincy, Massachusetts.
The body was taken to the Campbell Mortuary.
Funeral services were postponed until the arrival of Miss Nellie from Massachusetts, where she had gone only a few days ago to visit Mrs. Johnson. They were held at 10:00 a.m. today at the Woltje residence, followed by services at the Methodist Church at 10:30, the Rev. Bryant Howe officiating. Burial was in Blair cemetery.
