CYRUS ANDERSON’S MOTHER, 72, DEAD

Mrs. Mary Jayne Anderson, 72, of Route 2, Florence, mother of Cyrus Anderson of Blair and herself once a local resident, died yesterday morning in an Omaha hospital after a week’s illness. She had lived in Omaha since 1911.

Surviving are her husband, Cyrus E.; a daughter, Mrs. Maza Leaming, Omaha; three sons, Clarence and Archie of Omaha and Cyrus of Blair; two brothers, Myron M. and Marion Metzinger of Finland, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at Briggs Community United Brethern church north of Florence. Burial will be in Blair cemetery.
