Nielsen, Mary Ann
May 2, 1932 - March 4, 2023
Mary Ann was born on a farm in Kennard, NE to Lillard and Myrtle Jensen. She moved to Omaha, and graduated from North High School. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Duplicate Bridge, traveling, raising orchids, and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by husband of 69 years, Ralph; children, Thomas Nielsen, Tracy (Andrew) Leas, Kenneth (Kristine) Nielsen and Kristy (Darryl) Coontz; grandchildren, Derek (Emily) Leas, Kirsten (Ben) Hoeft, Zachary and Jacob Nielsen, Allison (Travis) Bowring and Ariel Coontz; great-grandchildren, Finley and Marina Bowring; brother, James (Joan) Jensen. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Eleanor Hansen, Loraine Hooks and Lois Eaton.
