Roy Atwood, Blair barber, was taken to Clarkson Hospital in Omaha recently for additional examination and medical care. Mr. Atwood has been ill for several weeks with a virus infection of the lungs and other complications. He was confined to the Blair hospital several days prior to being returned to his home last Sunday.

Services Pending for Roy Atwood
Blair—Roy Atwood, 73, of Blair, died at his home Monday morning after a long illness.
He and his wife, Edythe, operated a combination beauty-barbershop here for several years.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Bahner of Bellflower, California; brother, Shirley of Sioux City, Iowa; sister Mrs. Will Harty of Santa Rosa, California, and two grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Bendorf funeral home.
