Columbus Smith died at his home last Friday afternoon of concussion of the brain caused by an over exertion.

He was buried Sunday afternoon from the Methodist church, Rev. Main officiating, and the remains were interred in the Blair cemetery. He leaves a wife and three small children to mourn his loss and the sympathy of numerous friends and acquaintances is extended to them in their sad trouble.
