Harold R. Ladehoff, 86, of Lincoln, formerly of Schuyler, died
Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, in Lincoln.
The funeral service is Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St.
John’s Lutheran Church, Schuyler, with Rev. Dr. Neal Anthony
officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. with 7 p.m.
Masonic Service at Kracl Funeral Chapel. Visitation continues
Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
Committal with Military Honors in the Schuyler Cemetery.
Lunch following in the church fellowship hall.
Memorials in care of the family for future designation.
Harold Rueben Ladehoff was born on Sept. 22, 1937, on a farm
in rural Dodge County, Nebraska, to Rueben H. and Ella H.
(Wulf) Ladehoff.
On Aug. 26, 1961, he married Gayle Longacre and they lived in
Schuyler most of their lives, moving to Lincoln in 2012. He was
a State Farm Agent in Schuyler for 43 years.
Harold is survived by his three children: Pam (Ric) Miller,
Omaha; Jackie (Doug) Matthies, Lincoln; and Lori (Scott)
Jenkins, Lincoln; five grandchildren; his brother, Harvey (Gae
Beckstrom), North Bend; two sisters-in-law, Lavonne Ladehoff,
North Bend; Karen Ladehoff, Arlington; along with numerous
nieces, nephews and extended family.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle; parents Ella and
Rueben Ladehoff; brothers, Harlan and David; brother-in-law,
Michael Longacre; sister-in-law, Linda Gilbert; parents-in-law,
Pauline Leaders and Ted Longacre.
