Bruce R. Coryell, age 93 of Blair, passed away Dec. 29, 2023 in Blair. Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Kennard Cemetery.
Bruce was born Jan. 11, 1930 in Omaha, Neb. He was raised in Omaha and attended Omaha Tech High School. Bruce served in the United States Army in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1953. On Jan. 29, 1954, he was united in marriage to Phyllis M. Jensen. In 1956, the couple moved to California Junction, Iowa. The family lived there until 2011 when they moved to Blair. Bruce was a mechanic by trade; he was constantly working on something, even building a go-kart for his children. He also loved riding his motorcycles.
Bruce is survived by his wife Phyllis; children: Cathy (Kevin) Campbell of Blair, Marsha (Stuart) Hardy of Palm Coast, Florida, Robert (Angela) Coryell of St. Louis, Missouri, and Susan Varzini (Carl Gossard) of Prescott, Arizona; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Albert “Ab” Jensen of Blair and sister Marlene Coryell.

Memorial services for Bruce and Phyllis Coryell will be held Friday October 25, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 1 p.m. Graveside services will follow in the Kennard Cemetery.
