Attorney Richard Meissner Dies Suddenly in Lincoln
Attorney Richard C. Meissner died suddenly in his Lincoln hotel room Wednesday afternoon. Death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mr. Meissner practiced law in Omaha for many years, and while his legal residence is in Omaha, he has been a member of the Nebraska State Parole Board and has been spending most of his time in Lincoln. He was the brother of Henry R. Meissner, a practicing attorney in South Omaha.
Tentative funeral arrangements have been set for 11am Saturday, at the Crosby-Kunold Mortuary, 33rd Avenue and Farnam Street. The funeral will be held at 2pm however, if the son Richard H. Meissner does not arrive from Germany in time for the services to be held at 11am.
