Vivian R. Moore, age 87, passed away May 28, 2024, at Ridgewood Senior Living in Bennington, Neb. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Blair American Legion, 103 S 12th St, Blair, NE 68008. Private graveside services will be held in the Kennard Cemetery.

Vivian was born Dec. 28, 1936, in rural Kennard, Neb., the daughter of Claus and Sophie Wrigg. She attended Peaceful Hill country school then attended and graduated from Kennard High School in 1954. After high school she began working at Western Electric.

On Nov. 5, 1956, she was united in marriage to Larry R. Moore in Logan, Iowa. While working full time at Western Electric, Vivian also attended college at College of Saint Mary and earned her bachelor’s degree, which allowed her to move into management at Western Electric. Vivian was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Huskers, Blue Jays, Chiefs and Royals, but mostly enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren over the years, in many different events. She loved baking and entertaining family and friends.

Vivian is survived by her children; Pam (Dave) Glaser, Brett Moore, Bart (Sandy) Moore and Barry (Karla) Moore, grandchildren; Nicki (Bryan) Williams, Presley (Charles) Forward, Miranda Moore, Cassie (Austin) Wulff, Whitney (Marcus) Mlnarik, Wyatt (Stephanie) Moore, Walker Moore, Blake Moore, Zak Moore and Lindsey (Chris) Schlosser, along with 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children Larry Moore, brother Jim Wrigg, and sisters Sharon Rayburn and Betty Reeh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
