Christine Suzanne Gill, age 56 of Blair, passed away June 4, 2024. Memorial services will be held Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Blair. A time of lunch and gathering will be held following at the church at 2:00 PM.
Christine was born May 16, 1968, in Blair, Neb., the daughter of LeRoy and Pamela (Smith) Stevens, the oldest of three daughters. She was raised in Blair and attended Blair Community Schools, graduating in 1987. After high school, she moved to Texas to become a nanny. Upon returning to Blair, she worked at Wilkinson Manufacturing and later found her second family, among her coworkers, at Woodhouse in Blair.
Christine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, listening to music and relaxing at the lake.
In her final years, she found solace in her church and her role as an aunt and great aunt; her nieces and nephews were her pride and joy.
Christine is survived by her father LeRoy (Jane) Stevens; sisters: Angie (Mark) Hodson and Holly (Corey) Hafer; nieces and nephews: Adam (Whitney) Hodson, Alicia (Tom) Koziol, Jacob Rogge; great nieces and nephews: Tucker, Hank, Mason, Ivy and Tinley; along with many loved cousins, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Pamela, niece Ashley Hodson and nephew Jeremy Hodson.
Memorials may be directed to Christ Lutheran Church in Blair.
