GEORGE W. KOONTZ, 72, DIED LAST NIGHT
George William Koontz, 72, former Omahan, died at 10pm last night at the home of his sister, Mrs. Charles Houghton, 600 East Lincoln Street. He was employed at the Windsor Hotel in Omaha until last July, when he came to his sister’s home. In ailing health all winter, Mr. Koontz had been critically ill about three weeks.
Surviving are his wife and four children, in Idaho; and two sisters, Mrs. Houghton of Blair and Mrs. Elsie Bunting of Hastings.
The body is at the Campbell Mortuary. Services had not been arranged at noon today.
