John David Liston passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 65.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Ruth Liston (Meier), brother James Liston, and a son.

He is survived by his children, Victoria & Matt Tomanek (Papillion, NE), Valerie & Nick Prenzlow (Arlington, NE), Adam & Mandi Liston (Fremont, NE), Alex & Brandy Liston (Elkhorn, NE), and his wife, Kathy Liston (Fremont, NE), sister, Joan Licht (Hooper, NE), and stepson, Jason Hinds (Beumont, TX), and many grandchildren and a step-granddaughter.

Family will be available for visitation at Moser Funeral Home, 2170 N. Somers Ave., Fremont, NE 68025, on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM.

Celebration of life service following visitation on Sunday, at 3:00 PM, at Lifegate Church 2407 N Colorado Ave, Fremont, NE 68025.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested toward the John Liston Memorial Fund, which has been set up to fund charities and missions near and dear to John's heart.
