Rebecca Leigh Townsend was born to Udith Townsend in Blair, Nebraska on March 31, 1985. She entered into eternal rest June 11, 2024.

Growing up with a large family was a blessing that meant many gathering where cousins were always together. Summers were spent riding bikes, swimming, camping at grandpa's bait shop at Summit Lake, going for pizza and Shirley Temples at the Duck Inn.

Becky loved to spend time with her brothers teaching them the dos and don'ts to giving Grandma Alta plenty of gray hair. She loved to cook and bake and was always trying new recipes. Becky never knew a stranger. She was always willing to give her last dollar if it meant someone needed it more than her. She had the biggest and brightest smile, and even bigger personality to match. Her greatest blessings were her two children: Odin and Avahlyn. She loved living life to the fullest and never regretted a single moment of that. She will forever be remembered as a wild soul that couldn't be tamed. Her life can be summed up by this quote, "I do not and will not fear tomorrow because I feel as though today has been enough" -z.b

Survivors include her children: Odin and Avah; parents: Art and Udith Johnson; brothers: Garrett (Katie) Robinson, Kenneth Robinson; uncles and aunts: Robert Camron, Leroy (Angie) Townsend, Linda Camron, Liz Townsend, Jim (Trish) Alexander; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Gary and Alta Townsend; uncle and aunts: George and Carol Camron, Theanna Mueller; cousins: Zack and Matt Townsend, Nathan Camron and Jamie Alexander.
