Tena May Shumake, age 75 of Blair, passed away June 29, 2024 at her home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Tena was born December 21, 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Richard and Marian Daniels. She was raised in Blair and graduated from Blair High School in 1966. After high school, she attended beauty school and worked as a beautician. On April 24, 1971, she was united in marriage to Warren Shumake in Blair.

Tena is survived by her husband Warren; children: Clark Shumake and fiancé Elizabeth Whiteing, Mark Shumake; Daniel (Marie) Shumake; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; mother-in-law Grace Shumake-Wulf; brother-in-law John Shumake, along with extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters.
