Neil D. Plugge, age 50, of Arlington, NE, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Methodist Fremont Health.

A Celebration of Life service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2024, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington, NE. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at church.

Private burial will take place at St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Neil D. Plugge, 50 years, of Arlington, NE passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at Methodist Fremont Health.

Neil was born on July 30, 1973 to Walter and Joyce (Scheer) Plugge in Fremont, NE. He grew up in Arlington, NE and graduated from Arlington High School in 1992. After high school, he was married to Christine Von Dollen for 11 years and had three children Tyler, Jacob and Samuel. Neil received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. On March 23, 2018, Neil married Brandi Waugh in Omaha, NE. Neil worked in IT for Conagra Brands for over 20 years and most recently spent a couple years at Scoular.

Neil was a well-travelled outdoorsman. He enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, and was an avid reader. Neil liked to help with the Arlington youth wrestling and football programs. He loved the Green Bay Packers and was able to visit the stadium three times. Neil was very proud of his electrical knowledge that he learned from his former in-laws.

Neil was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington.

He was preceded by his father and brother, Kyle in death.

He is survived by wife, Brandi; sons, Tyler, Jacob and Samuel; mother, Joyce (LeRoy) Pendley; twin brother, Nathan (Christine) Plugge; sister, Kristen (Shawn) Matteo; and nieces and nephews.
