Marian Annette Hansen, age 78, passed away August 3, 2024, at Nye Pointe in Fremont, Nebraska. Funeral Services will be held Thursday August 8, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in the Lincoln Cemetery, Orum. Visitation will be held Wednesday August 7, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Marian was born June 28, 1946, in Fremont, Nebraska, the daughter of Richard and LaVerne Sorensen. She was raised on the family farm east of Orum. She attended country school before attending and graduating from Blair High School. On February 12, 1972, she was united in marriage to Richard Hansen. The couple were blessed with three children. Over the years Marian worked at the Blair Hospital and D.L. Blair. Marian enjoyed crocheting, making blankets, scarves and toys for others. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

Marian is survived by her husband, Richard L. Hansen; their sons: Tim Hansen (wife Amy), Tony Hansen (Heather), Dale Hansen (wife Jennifer); grandson: Tyler Hansen; granddaughter Holly Hansen; brother Harold Sorensen; brothers-in-law Roy Hansen and Ed Hansen; sisters-in-law Ann Hansen, Sharon Bobo (Lanny), Karen Hansen and Diane Hansen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Linda L. Hansen.
