About a year and a half ago, Curtis Fleeman had been reported missing. An Endangered Missing Advisory was issued as authorities search for a 73-year-old Fremont man.

The Fremont Police Department said Curtis Fleeman was last seen Friday night. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a red collared shirt, white undershirt, jeans, glasses, and brown shoes.

Fleeman was last seen driving a blue 1994 GMC Sierra pickup bearing Nebraska plate 05-528A.

He was located in Washington County, Nebraska, and safe, thanks to an alert gas station clerk, the Nebraska State Patrol said in a tweet Saturday morning, June 8, 2019.

Curtis Fleeman passed away December 23, 2020.

There are no services scheduled at this time. A graveside with military honors will be held at a later date in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
