Joseph “MoJo” Leslie Hamke, 62, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 19th, 2024, at 5:31 a.m. at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, in the company of his family.

He is survived by his wife Dawn Hamke; her children: Brandon Willis (Katherine); Jamilynn Willis Vines; his grandchildren: Avery Brynn, Cole Grayson, and Avalyn Grace; brothers: Paul (Laura) Hamke; Carl (Kaylene) Hamke; John (Jana) Hamke; sister Laurie (Max) Harris; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lola (Swingholm) Hamke; and his brother, Phillip Richard Hamke.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, 444 S 17th St., Blair Ne. 68008. The viewing will be open to the public at 1 p.m. on Wednesday for those who wish to pay their respects.

Military graveside services will be held at Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Rd., Omaha Ne., 68138, Thursday October 26, 2024 at 11 a.m.
