Rudy Leon Wiese, age 74, of Lincoln, NE, passed away on September 26, 2024, in Lincoln, NE. He was born July 31, 1950, to Delmar C. Wiese Sr. and Marguerite Josephine Wiese.

Rudy was a passionate husband and father, who devoted his time to providing for his family. In his younger years he played football and enjoyed his time outdoors hunting and fishing; that he passed down to his children. He had a passion for cooking that he used to feed friends and family throughout his life.

Rudy is preceded in death by parents Delmar C. Sr. and Marguerite J. Wiese.

He is survived by his wife Carol Wiese, of Lincoln, NE; Sons: Christopher (Christy) Wiese, Athens, GA, Shawn (Rhonda) Wiese, Illiopolis, IL, Andrew (Tiffany) Wiese, Springfield, IL, Shawn (Heather) Philips, Cordova, TN, David (Breena) Wiese, Lincoln, NE, and daughter, Kim (Eugene) Wiese Dubravin; Brothers: Jerry (Debbie) Wiese of Fort Calhoun, NE, Delmar “Buddy” Jr. (Vonda) Wiese, Dunbar, NE, John (Stephanie) Wiese, Papillion, NE; 17 grandchildren, 7 nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 am Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

INTERMENT: Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln, NE.
