Roberto was born to Robert Enrique Beintez (Ret. Col.) MD and Thelma M. Benitez in Brooklyn, New York.

He passed away August 30, 2024 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Preceded in death by: parents, daughters, JoHanna and Tamera Benitez.

Left to honor his memory are his son, Roberto E. Benitez III of Omaha, daughter, Stephanie Benitez of New London, CT, son, Stephen M. (Rebecca) Benitez, Omaha, brother, Peter (Suzy Rosenberg) Benitez, of New York, sister, Cathy Whitaker of New York, sister, Pamala (Dr. B. John Molidor) Benitez, MD of Bloomfield Hills, MI, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Evelyn T. Benitez and Odinn Karl Reynisson, many nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, September 9, 2024 at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home, 214 N. 14th Street, Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 am Tuesday, September 10, 2024 also at funeral home.

INTERMENT: Omaha National Cemetery
