Mark Schroeder, 60 years old, of Tekamah, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at his home in Tekamah.
Mark Thomas Schroeder was born on August 3, 1963, to Robert W. and Dolores (Matya) Schroeder in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from Tekamah-Herman High School in 1982, where he participated in football, earning the nickname "Schultzee," and wrestling. Those who knew him enjoyed his great sense of humor. After graduation, Mark worked at Save More Market as a meat cutter. Later, after moving to Lincoln, he worked for Cargill as an operations technician for 25 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Jeremy) Ertz; granddaughters, Rylee and Jordynn of Lincoln, NE; sisters and brothers: Diane Frazer of Columbus, NE; David (Jay) Schroeder of Noblesville, IN; Don (Lori) Schroeder of Wagonor, OK; Ron Schroeder of Tekamah; Deb (Les) Campbell of Crescent, IA; Mary (Kelly) Ducheneaux of Tekamah; Margaret (Chris) Carlson of Tekamah; Marti (Kurt) Potadle of Herman; aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Daniel and Robert W. Jr.; sister, Denise A. Dick.
