Alfred Andersen, 85, died on Nov. 15, 1976 at Scribner. He was born on Nov. 30, 1890 in Washington County to Peter Jacob & Sophie Andersen. He married Marie Andersen on Feb. 18, 1925. They retired to Uehling in 1957. She died on Dec. 18, 1973. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brother, Walter, and sister, Mary (Mrs. Louis) Petersen. He was survived by 3 sisters; Mrs. Dena McBroom, Mrs. Emma Sohl and Mrs. Annie Jacobson. He was buried at the West Admah Cemetery.
