The funeral for Thelma M. Williams, 82, of Fremont, Nebraska will be 11am Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.

Mrs. Williams died Friday, October 11, 1991 at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.

Thelma McKillip was born June 16, 1909 in Arlington, Nebraska. She lived there until she was 9, when she moved to a farm near Belgrade, Nebraska. She lived there for five years until moving to Denver, Colorado. She moved to Fremont, Nebraska in 1929.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fremont and its Lydia Circle.

She married Everett Williams on October 22, 1931 in Blair, Nebraska. He died April 18, 1986.

Left to cherish her memory are four daughters, Darlene (Mrs. Donald) Peetzke of Bunceton Missouri, Carol (Mrs. Wayne( Spies of Fremont, Marilyn (Mrs. Lyle) Echtenkamp of Humbolt, Tennessee, and Maxine Coffee of Omaha, Nebraska; a sister, Edith Hezmalhalch of Denver; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

The Rev. Leland Foreman will officiate Tuesday’s service. Visitation is in progress until 9 tonight and 9-11am Tuesday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
