Ann Marie Wilke, 80 yrs, of Fremont, NE, passed away, July 17, 2025, at Methodist Fremont Health.

Ann was born October 5, 1944, in Fremont, NE, to Howard and Doris (Christensen) Happel. She resided in Washington County till 1962, the same year she graduated from Hooper High School.

She married Robert Wilke in 1977. They moved into Fremont in 2001. They were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ann worked for the Masonic Home for Children in Fremont. She volunteered at Shalimar Gardens. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking. She took care of her friends and family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her son, Scott Stigge of Houston, TX; sister, Betty Sweet (Coy) of Fremont; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Echo Soza; brother, Jerry Happel; and her parents.

The memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, July 28th, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fremont.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials are directed to the Masonic Home for Children.
