Scott R. Thilges, 49 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, NE as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Scott was born on April 1, 1976 to Robert and Marilyn (Andreasen) Thilges in Fremont, NE.

He grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School, class of 1994. He later attended Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE.

Over the years, Scott worked for Miller Brewing in Kansas City, which he enjoyed very much. He also worked for Taylor & Martin, and 3M for the past 13 years.

Scott was a huge Husker sports and Kansas City Chiefs fan.

He loved to travel and ride his Harley.

Lastly, Scott was a big music fan, rock music was his life.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn; grandparents, Kenneth and Margie Andreasen, and Herman and Alice Thilges.

He is survived by significant other, Sarah Lackey and her daughters, Josie and Jasmine; father, Bob Thilges and his love, Mary Ann Paulson; sister, Tina (Dion) Menking; nephew, Zachary (Ricki) Menking and their children, Kyler, Lydia, and Olivia; nephew, Benjamin Menking and special friend Callie Eyler; and many good friends and family.

A Memorial service will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, NE. Chaplain Scott Jensen will officiate.

Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Moser's.

Burial will take place at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
