Bailey Mathis, age 28 of Omaha, passed away Sept. 17, 2025, at her home in Omaha. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025, at noon at Reach Church. Graveside services will follow in the Blair Cemetery. A time of fellowship will follow at the church. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 24, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Bailey was born on April 29, 1997, in West Point, Nebraska, the daughter of Brenda Mathis. She attended Wisner-Pilger Schools and graduated in 2015. During her high school years she enjoyed being involved with sports, being part of the dance and cheer team, and spending time with her friends, who she truly loved.

After high school she attended college at The University of Nebraska at Omaha concentrating on studies in the medical field. She began her career in the medical field by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. Bailey worked at Methodist Hospital in several different departments until her dream job became available, working at Children's Hospital in the Hematology and Oncology Departments.

Bailey lived a very active and social lifestyle. She loved attending Husker games, concerts, dancing and singing karaoke.

She is survived by her mother Brenda Mathis, sisters: Hayden and Jocelyn; brothers: Jonathan, Jordan and Jace; grandparents: Patty and Allen Hanson and Doug Chudomelka; along with extended family and countless friends, and her beloved fur-baby Poppy.

A celebration of her life will be held to honor Bailey on Sunday, September 28, at the American Legion in Blair, Nebraska, at 4 p.m.
