| Robert Roberts was born on January 29, 1880, to Robert and Nancy Roberts on their farm near Bell Creek, Nebraska. He was the tenth of possibly twelve children in that family. His father was a farmer and a grain dealer in Bell Creek, the settlement that would eventually become the town of Arlington.
The cause is not documented, but Robbie died on September 6, 1883. He was just 3 years, 7 months, and 8 days old. He was buried at Colby-Morley Cemetery.
