Lucille Ryan, age 94 of Blair, passed away May 3, 2026. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Graveside services will follow in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Lucille Fern Ryan was born May 18, 1931, in Bancroft, Nebraska to Fred and Beatta (Raasch) Sass. Lucy was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bancroft, NE. As a young child her family moved to West Point and then Blair in 1942. Lucy was confirmed in Christ, May of 1944 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair.

Lucy worked for Mudge Robinson at the old home theater through high school. She graduated from Blair High School in 1949. Following graduation, she worked at Kelly Ryan Equipment and later at Blair Community Schools.

On December 28, 1952, she was united in marriage to Robert Ryan. To this union three children were born: Steven, Paula and Sally. Lucy enjoyed volunteering and was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Fireman’s Auxiliary in Blair.

Lucy is survived by her children: Steven (Linda) Ryan of Blair, Sally (John) Masters of Blair; grandchildren: Michelle (Shane) Wilson, Christopher Ryan, Matthew (Jillian) Ryan, Joshua Thompson, Mariah Thompson, Brandon Moody, Shane (Astaisha) Masters, Rachel (Joe) Maguire and Kyle Masters; 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Wanda Sass of Birmingham, AL and Donna Dean Ryan of Fort Calhoun; brothers-in-law Curtis Ryan of Tuscan, AZ; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ryan, daughter Paula Moody, her parents, brother Fred Sass Jr. sister Gwen (Clair) McKinnis, nephew Dan McKinnis and niece Lori Svendgard. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or the family for later designation. Services by Campbell Aman Funeral Home, Blair, NE.
