Enjoyed looking through family pictures

John W. Marr, 60, of Scribner, formerly of Fremont, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society in Scribner.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25 at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery in Fort Calhoun. Visitation will be held prior to procession to graveside service at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair beginning at 8:30 a.m.

John W. Marr was born July 9, 1951, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Clarence and Annie (Sondrol) Marr.

He worked for Encor for several years. He especially enjoyed looking through family pictures and baseball cards. He was always a source of joy and comfort to his family, especially to his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by sisters, Camilla Borgelt of Blair and Jeanine Marr of Colorado; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Connie Marr of Colorado, Ward and Patty Marr of Fort Calhoun, Tony Marr of Fort Calhoun, and Terry Marr of Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
