Blair native loved her family

Joyce A. E. Frazier, 70, of Missouri Valley, Iowa, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Missouri Valley.

Joyce A. E. Bilderback was born Jan. 25, 1941, in Blair to Howard and Alma (Case) Bilderback. She graduated from Fort Calhoun High School in Fort Calhoun. On Aug. 29, 1959, she married Fred Frazier.

Mrs. Frazier worked for the United States Postal Service and then operated a daycare center. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and movies, and loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, Fred, of Missouri Valley; children, Joanne Frazier, Lyons, Colo.; Suzy and Bruce Kocher and Mark and Christina Frazier, all of Missouri Valley; David Frazier, Ames, Iowa; sister, Wanda Kollmorgen, Fort Collins, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Julie; brothers, Duane and Don Bilderback; and sister, Norma Korff.

Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley was in charge of arrangements.
