Marlene R. Neill, 67, of Modale, Iowa, died Nov. 22, 2011, at the Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.
A memorial service was held Monday, Nov. 28, at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. Interment was in the Magnolia (Iowa) Cemetery.
Marlene Rae Dean was born March 18, 1944, in Little Sioux, Iowa, to Fred and Mary (Richardson) Dean. She graduated from Mondamin High School.
She was employed as a clerk at Blair Superfoods.
She enjoyed country-western dancing, NASCAR, and being with her cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathi Neill of Modale; Duane Neill of Modale; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Dan Reed of Missouri Valley, Iowa; special family, Christine and Kevin Koke and their children, all of Woodbine, Iowa; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tobi; and brother, Roger Dean.
