Funeral services for 77 year old Ruth Garner were held on Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Blair. The Rev. Alan Howe officiated with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Garner was born at Tarkio, Missouri on May 25, 1906, and died at the Good Shepherd Home, in Blair, on April 19, 1984. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Gilfred Garner.

Also surviving are two children, one brother, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Her children are: Mrs. Robert (Betty) Wehrli of Blair and Gil G. Garner of Omaha. Her brother is James Cradit of Washington.

Pallbearers were: Gary Baker, Lewis Baker, Derald Erickson and Jeff Sterner.
