CHRISTENA IVERSEN, 85

Services for Christena Iversen, 85 of Blair, who died December 13, 1991, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 17 at First Lutheran Church with burial in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Christena D. Heise was born on February 5, 1906 in rural Fort Calhoun, Nebraska to Charles and Anna Knag Heise. She attended the rural Green School.

On January 25, 1928 she married Otto Iversen. They farmed west of Ft. Calhoun until 1968 at which time they moved near Bennington. In 1988 they moved to the Johansen Manor, where they were residing at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Fred Heise; and one sister, Wilhelmina Johansen.

She is survived by her husband, Otto; two sisters, Emma Heise, Omaha, Nebraska; and Margaret (Mrs. Russell) Logemann, Bennington, Nebraska; and many nephews, nieces and friends.

Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church or Good Shepherd Home.
