SERVICES FOR ANDREW CHRISTIANSEN WERE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 30
Mr. Andrew Christiansen, lifelong farmer of Kennard, passed away at his home unexpectedly Saturday morning, Sept. 26, 1970. Death was due to a heart attack. He was 75 years old.
Mr. Christiansen was born on Nov. 29, 1894. He spent his entire life time on the farm where he passed away. On March 27, 1929, he was united in marriage to Rose Wiese. Out of this union were born two sons, LaVerne of Arlington and Merle of Logan, Iowa. Besides these two children and the bereaved widow, he leaves five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 30, 1970, at Emmaus Lutheran Church of Kennard at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Arden Dorn officiated with Bendorf Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Prairie View Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Vernon Christiansen, Neils Christensen, Larry Christensen, LeRoy Voss, Reinhardt Puls and Clarence Voss.
