Faye B. Jones, 93, of Blair, died Saturday, Jan.7, 2006, in Blair. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan 11, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan, 10, at the funeral home, with a vigil service at 7 p.m.
Faye B. Jones was born Oct. 15, 1912, in Rogersville, Mo.
On Jan. 22, 1931, she married Maurice Jones.
Mrs. Jones lived a good deal of her life in Omaha, where she raised her eight children. Most recently, she lived in Fort Calhoun.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Maurice “Jim” and Dorothy and Larry and Dorothy, all of Omaha; daughters and son-in-law, Betty Jones of Dallas, Texas, Sue and John Hamilton of Grove, Okla., Linda and Robert Day of Littleton, Colo., Kathy Jensen of Fort Calhoun, Diane Jones of Westminster, Colo.; sister-in-law, Ellen Jones of Omaha; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice, in 1977, and a son, Albert “Bud” F. Jones.
