Nora Elizabeth Gosker Dies At Age Of 84
Nora Elizabeth Gosker, 84 year old Arlington woman, died last Saturday, March 27th at her home near Arlington. Mrs. Gosker was born June 23, 1891, at Vacoma, Nebraska, a small trading village of the west part of Washington County which is now extinct.
She was married to Ernest Gosker and the couple farmed north of Arlington for many years. Mr. Gosker preceded her in death a number of years ago, but she remained on the farm which has been operated by her son, Bernard.
She is survived by two sons, Sherman and Bernard, both of Arlington, and both farmers. There are four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A sister, Mrs. Clarence Wachter (Tina) resides in Omaha.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. The Rev. Robert Albers and the Rev. John Petersen conducted the service. Burial was made at the Telbasta Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Milton and Rolland Carlberg, Jack Wachter, Emmett Rogert, Walter Giesselmann and Merle Newkirk.
